展(zhan)現(xian)英(ying)語(yu)風采，訴說(shuo)微笑力量。5月18日(ri)下午(wu)，山東職(zhi)業學(xue)院(yuan)第一屆英(ying)語(yu)文化節開(kai)幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)題英(ying)語(yu)演講比賽(sai)在圖書館(guan)行政樓(lou)東報告廳舉行，學(xue)院(yuan)副院(yuan)長(chang)郭鵬出席開(kai)幕式并致辭(ci)，基(ji)礎部(bu)(思政部(bu))主(zhu)任賈(jia)明斌、團委書記王偉、國(guo)際(ji)交流中(zhong)心(xin)主(zhu)任呂(lv)子泉蒞臨比賽(sai)現(xian)場。
副院(yuan)(yuan)長郭鵬在致辭中指出(chu)，隨著我(wo)們國家高(gao)鐵國際化戰略的(de)(de)推進(jin)實施和學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)建設優質高(gao)職院(yuan)(yuan)校的(de)(de)改革發展，培養高(gao)素質應(ying)用型人(ren)才目標中學(xue)生英(ying)語(yu)應(ying)用水平凸顯(xian)重(zhong)要性(xing)，此次隆重(zhong)舉(ju)辦我(wo)院(yuan)(yuan)第一(yi)屆英(ying)語(yu)文化節目的(de)(de)就是為了(le)進(jin)一(yi)步突出(chu)英(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習的(de)(de)重(zhong)要性(xing)，鍛煉(lian)同學(xue)們的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)口語(yu)及實際交(jiao)流應(ying)用能力(li)，營造(zao)學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習氛(fen)圍，為打(da)造(zao)特色學(xue)習型校園(yuan)進(jin)行的(de)(de)一(yi)次非常(chang)有(you)(you)益和有(you)(you)意義的(de)(de)嘗試。
本屆英(ying)語(yu)文(wen)化節歷(li)時一(yi)個月(yue)，由基礎部、團(tuan)委和(he)國(guo)(guo)際交流中心(xin)共同舉辦，是(shi)響應學(xue)院建設國(guo)(guo)內領(ling)先(xian)、國(guo)(guo)際先(xian)進的(de)優(you)質高(gao)職院校目標，通過開展英(ying)語(yu)演(yan)講比賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)文(wen)歌曲大賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)語(yu)配音秀、英(ying)文(wen)海報比賽(sai)(sai)和(he)英(ying)語(yu)角等系(xi)列主題(ti)活動(dong)，旨在營造人(ren)人(ren)學(xue)習英(ying)語(yu)、用好(hao)英(ying)語(yu)的(de)濃厚氛圍(wei)，提升(sheng)大學(xue)生的(de)學(xue)英(ying)語(yu)、說英(ying)語(yu)、用好(hao)英(ying)語(yu)的(de)水平，活動(dong)內容新(xin)穎豐富，貼近學(xue)習生活。
經過前期(qi)的(de)(de)預(yu)賽，最(zui)終有來(lai)自各系的(de)(de)15位(wei)選手(shou)站上了(le)(le)決賽的(de)(de)舞(wu)臺，他們圍繞“The Power of Smile”為(wei)主題展示英語演(yan)講風采，他們的(de)(de)演(yan)講或慷慨激昂、情感熱(re)烈，或述(shu)說細(xi)膩、娓娓道(dao)來(lai)，加(jia)之與(yu)外(wai)教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)現場互動問答，贏得了(le)(le)臺下(xia)觀眾的(de)(de)陣陣掌聲(sheng)。經過激烈的(de)(de)比(bi)拼，最(zui)終張嘉琳、袁嘉賢、周穎(ying)、曲昌、高雪菲5位(wei)同學榮獲了(le)(le)此次比(bi)賽的(de)(de)一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
